Kannada Prabha Publications Limited was incorporated on 23rd March, 2005 under the Indian Companies Act, 1956 and has its Registered Office at No.1, Queen’s Road, Bangalore 560 001.

The Company carries on the business of publishing ‘Kannada Prabha’, a Kannda Daily from Bangalore, Belgaum, Shimoga Mangalore and Hubli. The Company forms part of The New Indian Express Group founded by Late Shri Ramnath Goenka. The New Indian Express Group brings out the prestigious publications viz., The New Indian Express, The New Sunday Express and Dinamani. The Group is now owned and managed by Shri Manoj Kumar Sonthalia, the grandson of late Shri Ramnath Goenka.

Shri Manoj Kumar Sonthalia is also the Chairman & Director of Kannada Prabha Publications Limited.

Apart from the daily news, Kannada Prabha also brings out supplements on almost every day on subjects of varied interests.

Kannada Prabha won the Best Designed Newspaper award by Karnataka Media Academy continuously for three years.

The Company is professionally managed with well qualified and experienced people holding charge of different departments.
