ಟರ್ಕಿ ಭೂಕಂಪ: ಅವಶೇಷಗಳಡಿ ಸಿಲುಕಿದ್ದ ಬೆಂಗಳೂರು ಮೂಲದ ಟೆಕಿ ಮೃತದೇಹ ಪತ್ತೆ

ಮಾಲತ್ಯ: ಶತಮಾನದಲ್ಲಿಯೇ ಅತ್ಯಂತ ಭೀಕರವಾದ ವಿನಾಶಕಾರಿ ಭೂಕಂಪದಿಂದ ಟರ್ಕಿ ಹಾಗೂ ಸಿರಿಯಾ ನಲುಗಿದ್ದು, ಅಪಾರ ಪ್ರಮಾಣದ ಜೀವ ಹಾಗೂ ಆಸ್ತಿಪಾಸ್ತಿ ನಷ್ಟ ಸಂಭವಿಸಿದೆ.

ಭೂಕಂಪದಿಂದಾಗಿ ಇಲ್ಲಿಯವರೆಗೂ ಸುಮಾರು 25,000ಕ್ಕೂ ಅಧಿಕ ಜನರು ಪ್ರಾಣ ಕಳೆದುಕೊಂಡಿದ್ದು, ಅನೇಕ ಕಟ್ಟಡಗಳು ಧ್ವಂಸಗೊಂಡಿವೆ.  ಹಲವು ಮಂದಿ ಅವಶೇಷಗಳಡಿ ಸಿಲುಕಿದ್ದು, ಸಾವು-ಬದುಕಿನ ನಡುವೆ ಹೋರಾಟ ನಡೆಸುತ್ತಿದ್ದಾರೆ. ಬದುಕುಳಿದವರಿಗಾಗಿ ರಕ್ಷಣಾ ಕಾರ್ಯಾಚರಣೆ ಭರದಿಂದ ಸಾಗಿದೆ.
